PREVIEW: Stoke City v Hull City

For all the exceptional work Marco Silva is producing on home turf, the mercurial manager of Hull City has not found the correct formula to cure the Tigers' ills on the road. By his own admission, this is not a problem his teams usually suffer, but the mantra of 'approach every game to win' is coming unstuck somewhat in the Premier League. Only the point taken at Manchester United swells the Silva coffers on the club's travels under his reign.

For the first time (probably ever?) since the Portuguese has been here, Silva will have a very welcome selection headache to overcome. Tom Huddlestone returns from a 3 match ban, while Harry Maguire, Omar Ellabdalloui and Dieumerci Mbokani are reportedly in contention for a return to the fold. Changes are expected from the side that took the field at Manchester City last weekend.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has been left miffed by a notable downturn in form that has seen the Potters lose their last four Premier League clashes and only register two wins in their last 11 matches. To compound their problems, injuries to Joe Allen and Ibrahim Afellay are significant, while Jonathan Walters is a doubt with a knee problem - and he's been the only player to net during their winless streak. However, goalkeeper Jack Butland could be involved for the first time since injuring his ankle in March last year.
