SUMMARY: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Hull City

Hull City cured their away day blues and cruised to a comfortable 0-2 victory at Nottingham Forest, maintaining their impressive recent history at the City Ground, that means the Tigers have not been beaten here now for 11 years. Perhaps, we could ground share?

City win at the City Ground, Again!

The Tigers set the early pace in this match and were awarded a penalty on 7 minutes. Toral stepped up, but Pantilimon saved for the hosts to keep parity. Yet, Toral was rewarded just two minutes later when heading home to give City a deserved lead. The Tigers continued in unaccustomed shock away form, when doubling their advantage on 38 minutes. On loan Liverpool winger Wilson sliding in to provide insurance on Hull City's lead at the interval.

City continued well, but Bowen blazed over from close range to put the Tigers out of sight. As in the recent FA Cup tie between the two sides, Forest looked toothless and devoid of ideas for much of the match, barring striking a post in the first period. Instead it was Hull City in surprising comfort on the road, that ran out easy 0-2 winners to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
