PREVIEW: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Hull City

This is quite probably, the toughest Championship fixture of them all right now. Table topping Wolves are all but Premier League bound, after dominating the division this season, but Hull City still have work to do just to maintain their second tier status. It's far from must win for the visitors, but any points collected are precious at the bottom end of the table.

Wolves by night...

Wolves of course, provide bitter memories for the Tigers this season. Not least because the corresponding fixture was 2-3 on home turf, more pertinently, Abel Hernandez suffered the Achilles injury during that game, wiping him out for most of this campaign. Again, this Tuesday, the Uruguayan striker is likely to be a bit-part player given he's only just completed his first full 90 minutes since, during the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Easter Saturday. Angus MacDonald is also a doubt at the back, given he hobbled off in the second half.

With the hosts pretty much a racing certainty for the title, let alone automatic promotion, the game comes not without it's problems for manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Wolves took the spoils during their 1-2 away win at play-off chasing Middlesbrough last time out - but not without heavy cost. Both full backs saw red during the victory, meaning Ruben Neves and Matt Doherty are banned for the Tigers' visit.
