SUMMARY: Hull City 0-0 Norwich City

Hull City turned in a much improved performance against Championship leaders Norwich City to take a precious point in their battle to beat the drop. While the visitors looked a shadow of the side that lit up the league, the Tigers could - and perhaps should - have won this game.

A point against the leaders...

A filthy night weather-wise greeted the teams as the rain poured and the wind swept through the stadium. But the Tigers appeared brightest as Martin headed an effort goalwards. Norwich - dare it be said - didn't look like they fancied their trip to Hull until the dying stages of the opening period. By then, the hosts had spurned the chance of the half as Grosicki's cross found Bowen, but his diving header went just wide, before Stewart blazed over another Grosicki cutback. 0-0 at the break then.

Come the second half, Grosicki continued being lively to fire a shot from distance to sting the palms of Krul. Bowen skewed another close range chance wide, as the Tigers pushed and looked the likelier of the two teams to get the opening goal. Again Grosicki came close for the hosts firing in at the near post, but unfortunately for home team, the deadlock couldn't be broken against the off-colour leaders.
