PREVIEW: Millwall v Hull City

A tremendous victory at Queens Park Rangers last Saturday provided the points to pull Hull City out of the relegation zone - finally. In fairness, the Tigers have been in reasonable form with just a solitary defeat against in-form Nottingham Forest being the only blemish. It does feel that manager Nigel Adkins is getting his footballing philosophy across to the players - and now the club are reaping some reward.

Lions and Tigers but no bears...

Adkins will have defensive concerns ahead of the clash with Millwall. Both Eric Lichaj and Reece Burke collected knocks during the win at Loftus Road - the pair are unlikely to figure at the New Den. Brighter news deems that striker Nouha Dicko could recover from a hamstring complaint to feature in the squad. If City can produce another winning performance in the capital, it will guarantee the Tigers will remain clear of the relegation zone for another week.

Millwall have hit a genuine sticky spell of form, losing three of their last five outings and failing to win in the process. Although, the Lions did pick up a useful point on the road at Bristol City as the game ended 1-1 in midweek. Boss Neil Harris could well recall midfielder Ryan Leonard to the team after serving a one match ban. The Tigers' record at the New Den has improved of late, winning two and drawing the other, of their three previous visits to Bermondsey.
