PREVIEW: Hull City v Swansea City

You have to tip your hat to Nigel Adkins, his staff and the players over the past couple of months. The Tigers have arrested an alarming slump in form and now enter the final fixture before the festivities begin with a notable one defeat in eight games - and a healthy five points clear of the relegation zone - ahead of Swansea City's visit in front of the cameras.

Adkins has done a terrific job with limited resources at his disposal, especially given the fact that the Allams have once again failed to sell the club ahead of Christmas, as forecast by Ehab. There will be no funds for recruitment while the shit show off the field continues to reign supreme - but whether you believe that no players will be leaving in the January window is another matter. For the here and now at least, the City boss has been boosted in defence that both Jordy de-Wijs and Reece Burke are fit and available once more.

Swansea City have endured some erratic form under new boss Graham Potter. Although arriving on the back of successive victories, it took sixteen matches previous to this, to achieve the same tally. Mike van der Hoorn should be fit after a recent illness, while Dan James comes back in to the squad following a hamstring injury. However, the match is likely to come too soon for midfielder Tom Carroll.

The Swans have an awful record in Hull with just one win from seven previous visits. Hopefully, the cameras won't spoil that run for us.

Merry Christmas everyone - from us all at CI Towers.
