SUMMARY: Nottingham Forest 3-0 Hull City

A sold out away allocation were left disappointed this Saturday afternoon, as hosts Nottingham Forest turned a game that was struggling to find a spark on it's head, as three goals in ten minutes determined Hull City would (rarely in recent times) be getting nothing out of this game at the City Ground.

Rare despair at Nottingham Forest

So accustomed to collecting all the points when travelling to Nottingham Forest, Hull City would've become the first team ever to win 6 straight away matches at the City Ground had they won. Instead, the Tigers will share their recent work with West Bromwich Albion who won five straight away fixtures here between 1925 -1930. Anyway to the match in hand...

The closest City came was Grosicki's first half near post strike, in an encounter struggling to find life. But the second period was turned by late substitutions from the hosts. Both scored for Forest - Antunes Carvalho's wonder striker on 72 minutes and Ansarifard on 76 minutes when scoring off the post, decided this game. Lolley added insult to injury with an 82 minute penalty to make it 3-0 to Forest. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted...
